WA Health is reporting a total of 5,112 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 40,821 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 220 people with COVID-19 in hospital, seven in ICU.
Today’s report includes eight deaths, one which occurred in the current reporting period to 8pm last night, and seven historical deaths dating back to 19 March, which were reported to WA Health yesterday. The deaths were two men in their 50s, a man in his 60s, a man in his 80s, a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 70s and two women in their 80s.
