Whittlesea Park planning underway

The City of Whittlesea has partnered with the Whittlesea Showgrounds and Recreation Reserve Committee of Management as it plans for the future development of Whittlesea Park – the largest public open space in Whittlesea Township.

The master plan for Whittlesea Park, which will include AF Walker Reserve, Whittlesea Lions Park and River Street Reserve, will guide short and long-term improvements to the area and reflect how the community would like to use the expansive park in the future.

Together with the Committee of Management and local community groups, the City of Whittlesea is assessing the site and considering opportunities for a large-scale playground, connected walking and cycling paths, barbecue and picnic facilities and more.

Residents will be invited to have their say and provide feedback on the draft master plan from mid-2022. To register your interest to receive email updates about this project visit this webpage.
