Will ‘Cross Peninsula’ and ‘On Demand’ bus services benefit you?

We want to hear from residents and tourists about your thoughts on a ‘Cross Peninsula’ bus service and an ‘On Demand’ bus service on the Mornington Peninsula.

Mornington Peninsula Shire Mayor Councillor Sam Hearn said “since the launch of Council’s Better Buses campaign in August 2019, over 70,000 people have told us how public transport plays a vital role for many on the Peninsula”.

“Public transport connects young people with education and employment. It allows our ageing population to live independently and go to medical appointments and social activities. During the Peninsula’s busiest periods, public transport benefits our visitors who are looking to explore our beautiful Peninsula.

“Your opinion on a ‘Cross Peninsula’ bus service and an ‘On Demand’ bus service can help us make travelling throughout the Peninsula better.

“We want your insights on whether services like these would benefit you, as well as where and how you would use it,” concluded Mayor Hearn.

We want to hear about:

‘Cross Peninsula’ Bus Service

  • Where would you go to and from?
  • What would you utilise this service for?

‘On Demand’ Bus Service

  • What would this look like to you?
  • Where would you go?
