Yarra Highway Patrol are currently investigating a serious injury collision that occurred at approximately 3:47pm on Monday 30 December 2019 on Church Street, Richmond near Gipps Street.
Police believe a maroon Jaguar sedan has tried to perform a u-turn in reverse and lost control colliding with a bench seat and 2 pedestrians.
Two pedestrians, a 66 year old woman and a 69 year old man are undergoing hospital treatment for serious non-life threatening injuries.
The 42 year old male driver from Richmond remained at the scene and is assisting with the investigation.
Anyone with dashcam video or any witnesses are urged to contact crime stoppers.
