The Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements will hear evidence from community witnesses who were directly affected by the 2019-20 bushfires when hearings resume tomorrow, 30 June 2020.
The hearing will commence with highlights from the Bushfire History Project and community accounts, followed by evidence from designated Cross Border Commissioners.
During the week the Commission will examine community messaging and the growing use of mobile applications or ‘apps’, and delivery of essential services – including roads, telecommunications and energy.
