Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Gisborne.
A 41-year-old man on a morning walk was attacked by three people on Valley Rd between James St and Gordon Street yesterday, Friday 29 March, between 6am – 6:30am.
The man sustained multiple injuries including facial injuries, stab wounds and lacerations to his body. He has been admitted to Gisborne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
