Witnesses sought following fatal pedestrian crash – Roseville

Crash investigators have released CCTV as investigations continue into a fatal pedestrian crash on Sydney’s North Shore last month.

About 7am on Sunday 11 June 2023, emergency services were called to the intersection of Boundary Street and Wandella Avenue, Roseville, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command attended and found a pedestrian – a woman believed to be aged in her 70s – had suffered critical injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, before she was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Mitsubishi wagon – a man aged in his 50s – was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene which was forensically examined by specialist police.

Officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances following the crash.

As inquiries continue, investigators are seeking witnesses to the crash and have released CCTV vision of three vehicles seen travelling in an easterly direction on Boundary Street, passing Wandella Avenue prior to the collision.

The vehicles depicted are described as a white SUV, a dark coloured hatchback and a white hatchback.
