Blast off on an amazing journey when Circa’s Wolfgang in the Stars lands at Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC), bringing a spectacular combination of acrobatics, puppetry, music and storytelling to the stage.
This enchanting family production follows Mozart Amadeus Wolfgang, a part-time genius and full-time rat-bag, as he embarks on an epic journey through the cosmos after the final notes of his lullaby mysteriously disappear.
Audiences are encouraged to strap in and prepare for a theatrical adventure where imagination travels faster than light, and every star holds a new discovery.
DRTCC Performing Arts and Venues Coordinator Tiffany Rowland said the show offers a magical theatre experience for children and adults alike.
“Wolfgang in the Stars is an imaginative production that blends the excitement of circus, the beauty of music and the wonder of theatre into one captivating adventure.
“Circa productions have become a favourite with our audiences through shows such as Carnival of the Animals and Duck Pond, and we’re delighted to welcome the company back with Wolfgang in the Stars,” Ms Rowland said.
Bursting with gravity-defying circus acts, live video projections, imaginative characters and an uplifting message of connection, Wolfgang in the Stars offers audiences of all ages a memorable experience.
“Family entertainment doesn’t get much better than this. It’s a fun and memorable experience for all the relatives to enjoy together,” Ms Rowland said.
Wolfgang in the Stars will be performed on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, at 6pm and Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 10am and 12:30pm.
As a special offer for families DRTCC is offering two separate Spring Family Passes with discounted prices for a family of four or five across all three performances. The passes make it more affordable for families to enjoy an unforgettable evening together.
