A woman will face court on drugs and weapons charges following a search in Mount Gambier yesterday.
At around 4pm on Tuesday 25 February, Limestone Coast detectives assisted by patrols and STAR Group officers, attended a house in Pressey Street and arrested a man in relation to another matter. Police conducted a search of the property and uncovered an ounce of methamphetamine and $10,000 cash.
The 47-year-old occupant was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug. She has been bailed to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on 21 April.
Investigations are continuing and further arrests are expected.
