Woman changed over thefts worth almost $15,000 in South Coast

A woman has been charged over the alleged theft of almost $15,000 dollars’ worth of items from local stores on the state’s South Coast.

Investigations began after officers attached to South Coast Police District received information a large quantity of items totalling $14,000 were being sold online.

Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Grantham Road, Batehaven, about 1pm Thursday 16 June 2022.

During a search of the home, police allegedly located and seized several items suspected of being stolen.

The Batehaven woman is due to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday 8 August 2022.
