Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Reservoir this evening.
Emergency services were called to reports a woman had been struck by a car on Seston Street about 7.40pm.
Sadly, the woman died at the scene.
A man, alleged to be the driver, was arrested at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Investigators allege the people involved appear to be known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives will attend the scene.
