Woman high range PCA after crash, NSW

A woman has been charged after allegedly being caught driving more than six times the legal blood alcohol limit after hitting a parked car in Sydney’s Inner West overnight.

About 7.45pm (Friday 26 June 2020), emergency services were called to Florence Street, St Peters, after reports a Ford Territory had crashed into a parked vehicle.

Officers from Inner West Police Area Command attended and spoke with the driver, a 42-year-old woman.

The uninjured woman was subjected to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

She was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station where she returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.324.

The woman was charged with attempt to drive with high range PCA and her licence was suspended.

She was granted conditional bail to face Newtown Local Court on Tuesday 18 August 2020.
