Woman released after hit-run in Noble Park

A woman who came forward to police yesterday following a hit-run collision in Noble Park last week has been released from custody.

The 40-year-old Dandenong woman was interviewed by Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers and released pending further enquiries.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident in which a 59-year-old man was struck by a car while cycling on Douglas Street on Thursday 13 April about 6.40am.

The driver left the scene after the Pakenham rider was knocked off his bicycle and his bike dragged 100m down the road.

The injured rider was taken to hospital grazed and bruised following the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
