Work begins on Tallebudgera Creek Park upgrades

Tallebudgera Creek Park upgrades underway

Work will begin on Tallebudgera Creek Park from Friday 25 August, as part of an area makeover to improve its access and facilities and meet growing demand for the park.

The popular park will be transformed into a destination foreshore park for locals and visitors that require assistance with their mobility.

During construction, there will be restricted access to the park area until December this year, however it is important to note that access to the carpark, creek and Tallebudgera dog beach will remain open during this time.

The Tallebudgera Creek Park improvements include:

  • New pathways and improved beach access
  • New public amenities
  • A ‘Changing Places’ facility for persons with reduced mobility access
  • New high quality all-inclusive playground
  • Upgraded barbecue and picnic areas
  • New tree planting
  • Improved green spaces

Other projects in the area include the recently completed renewal of the training wall at the northern end of Palm Beach and the Tallebudgera boardwalk upgrade.

The Tallebudgera Creek Park project is jointly funded by the Australian Government, Queensland Government and City of Gold Coast.
