Wounding Charge in Kallangur, QLD

Police have charged a 35-year-old man following an alleged wounding incident in Kallangur overnight, March 7.

Emergency services were called to the Andrew Street property just before 10pm to reports a man had allegedly been stabbed.

Upon arrival, a 43-year-old Kallangur man was located with multiple wounds to his chest, arm and neck.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment, and a crime scene was declared.

A 35-year-old Kallangur man was taken into custody nearby short time later.

He has been charged with one count of wounding and is due to appear at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court today, March 8.

It will be alleged the men are known to each other.

Investigations are continuing.
