Geography and Tourism subjects will be the last examined on November 17.

Language exams started late last month as part of a total 72 Stage 2 SACE subjects with an exam component.

The Stage 2 SACE subjects (examined) with the highest number of students in 2023 are:

  • General Mathematics – 4,160 students (November 6)
  • Biology – 3,096 (November 10)
  • Mathematical Methods – 2,853 (November 6)

The exams – paper, electronic and oral – will deliver final assessments for more than 12,200 secondary students enrolled in examined Stage 2 SACE subjects as part of their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) qualification.

All students will receive their SACE results on December 18.

The full exam timetable can be found on the SACE website, along with information on the SACE process and study tips, including how to prepare for an exam.

As put by Blair Boyer

Our Year 12 students should be very proud of all their achievements this year, with exams the culmination of all the hard work.

I appreciate this can be a stressful time for our Year 12s but all the hard work and dedication each of them applied throughout the year, will have them well-prepared for these next few weeks.

It’s also important to remember, exams are only one part of the final grade – students will continue to have a bright future in whatever endeavour they choose to follow.

As they embark on their next chapter in life – whether it be further study, a break or beginning their career – the education they have received in South Australia, along with the advice and commitment of their teachers, will no doubt provide a wonderful foundation for their years ahead.

As put by SACE Board Chief Executive Michaela Bensley

The SACE Board wishes all students involved in final exams well and reminds them to take care of themselves and each other and be proud of their schooling achievements over the past 13 years.

The SACE Board is continuing to work in close partnership with South Australian schools to help students prepare for a successful and positive examination experience as part of their learning journey.
