Zuccoli Primary School Reaches Major Milestone with Principal Appointed

The fast-tracked newgovernment school at Zuccoli has reached a major milestone, with theappointment of principal Carolyn Edwards.

Ms Edwards has led thenorthern suburbs Henbury School for the past 10 years and has twice beenawarded Principal of the Year at the NT Teaching Awards.

The new Zuccoli Primary Schoolprincipal commences her position tomorrow, and will play a pivotal role in determiningthe year level offerings for Term 1, 2020, when the school is due to open.

Construction is well advancedon Stage 1 of the school, which includes a preschool with capacity for 88students and eight primary school classrooms with capacity for more than 200students.

The $29 million project isbeing built in two stages. Halikos Construction won the first stage, currentlyunder construction, while tenders are being assessed for the second stage.
