Stonnington Mayor, Cr Jami Klisaris was pleased to present the 2022-23 Budget highlighting that it also commits to ensuring that rates on properties in Stonnington remain among the very lowest in Victoria, while investing in our places, precincts, projects, and services.

“After two years like never before, our city is moving ahead and this draft Budget works to ensure that Stonnington is a thriving and unique place, an inclusive and healthy community and a people centred and future ready city.

“This Budget is shaped by feedback collected over three stages of engagement. This included focus groups, formal submissions and a new budget simulation program that empowered people to help prioritise spending across our initiatives. It also takes insight from engagement projects that have helped to shape our strategies and initiatives, including nine months of in-depth conversations with our community that informed our Council Plan for 2021-25.

“I thank everyone who took the time and effort to provide input and feedback during the budget process.” Cr Klisaris said.
