Temporary Infrastructure

To reduce heavy and repeated bump in activities, the following temporary infrastructure will remain on-site for the duration of the AFLW season as per previous seasons.

  • Portable Toilets
  • Customer Service Ticket booth
  • Camera Scaffold Platforms
  • Temporary Fencing and Crowd Control Barriers around the perimeter of the venue.

Victoria Park Access on AFLW game days

Victoria Park Oval (playing surface) will be closed to public from 8am on the morning of each event. We advise people to find alternative parklands for recreational use.

Victoria Park Stadium will be closed to public from 9am in Rounds 2 and 8 and from 11am in Round 3.

The venue will re-open 1.5 hours following the conclusion of each match. This will allow for the safe set up and pack down of the venue whilst protecting the surrounding areas.

Please note that some parking spaces around the venue may be impacted during the bump in and out of equipment.
