$5 million for Campion College

The Coalition Government is supporting choice and diversity in education by providing funding towards upgrades at Campion College Australia.

Minister for Education Dan Tehan said the Coalition Government was providing $5 million towards the $20 million Campion Academic Centre project to improve facilities for students.

“Students and staff at Campion College Australia will benefit from the construction of a new library, teaching spaces for lectures and tutorials and a multifunctional space for cultural events and dining,” Mr Tehan said.

“This will allow for more staff and students at the college, and improve student amenities and resources, further enhancing the teaching and learning environment.

“Students and teachers thrive when their environments have modern and up-to-date learning facilities, and supporting projects such as this demonstrates our Government’s commitment to driving better results and outcomes.

“A vibrant and competitive private higher education sector ensures Australians have more choice and opportunity in education.

“We provide funding support for public universities, TAFE and private education providers. Private education providers offer an alternative which improves standards and competition across the board.”
