$8.4 Million For Brain Cancer Research

The MRFF’s 2026 Brain Cancer Research grant opportunity will provide up to $8.4 million for medical research and innovation projects that improve understanding in at least two of the following areas:

  • the factors that contribute to the development of brain cancer
  • the identification and validation of new therapeutic strategies for brain cancer, and/or
  • the development of new therapies for brain cancer.

These will be innovative, interdisciplinary, collaborative and translational pre-clinical and/or early-stage clinical brain cancer research projects.

Funding is from the MRFF’s Australian Brain Cancer Mission.
