Due to the high amount of rainfall, all ACT Government sportsgrounds will be closed for training today Friday 10 December 2021. Competition match play can still go ahead. Closures include turf sportsgrounds, excluding the Melrose and Nicholls synthetic fields and the Woden athletic track.
The decision has been taken in order to minimise damage to the turf surfaces and in the interests of public safety.
An announcement will be made later today if grounds will remain closed over the weekend for training and / or match play.
