Adoption of Amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan (DCP) 2012 relating to the Planning Proposal at 21-23 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista (1/2019/PLP)

At its meeting on 26 July 2022, Council resolved to adopt amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 to apply a reduced commercial car parking rate at 21-23 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista.

The amendments to Part C Section 1 – Parking were prepared in association with a planning proposal (1/2019/PLP) to facilitate additional commercial floor space on the land.

Currently, Part C Section 1 – Parking of the Hills DCP 2012 stipulates an applicable car parking rate of 1 space per 25m2 of commercial gross floor area at 21-23 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista.

The amendment will result in the application of a maximum parking rate of 1 space per 40m2 of commercial gross floor area and a minimum car parking rate of 1 space per 60m2 of commercial gross floor area to the site.

The amendments to the DCP will come into force on the date that the associated planning proposal (1/2019/PLP) is notified on the NSW Legislation Website.
