Almost 10,000 people spent Saturday dust-kickin’, boot-stompin’, barn-burnin’ and two-steppin’ at Council’s much-loved Boots n’ Beats.

This year’s event was held on Saturday 13 June, 2-8pm, at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the event was a huge success.

“It was a fantastic afternoon and evening where we got together as a community and enjoyed one of the favourites on Council’s event calendar,” Cr Fedeli said.

“It was terrific to see people really getting into the spirit of Boots n’ Beats – I saw some incredible line dancing, people really getting into their meals, kids absolutely loving the roving entertainment and activities and just some pure joy throughout the day.

“But the true showstoppers were the amazing talent we had on display – the incredible James Johnston as our headliner, backed up by Carly Mozsny, Hayden Phillis, Jamie Preston, Mak and Shar, Ronnie Joudo and Tori Darke. We were absolutely wowed – their talent, stage presence, electric energy and pure love for what they do was inspiring. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the amazing talent, as well as all the food and product vendors, who made the night unforgettable.

“Thank you to everyone who came and had a great time – that’s exactly why we put on these sorts of events. I’m already looking forward to next year’s Boots n’ Beats!”

This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, including:
