The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) has published its performance audit report on the administration of the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive.
The R&D Tax Incentive is the government’s key mechanism to stimulate Australian industry’s investment in R&D. We are committed to continually improving our administration of the program.
We welcome the ANAO’s conclusion that our administration of the R&D Tax Incentive is largely effective and will implement their recommendations. Our formal response in included in the report.
