Appeal after aggravated break and enter – Granville

Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate an aggravated break and enter, where a woman was allegedly sexually touched in Sydney’s west.

About 5am on Sunday 9 April 2023, a 22-year-old woman was inside a home in Granville when an unknown man forced entry and sexually touched her.

The woman yelled out to a friend for help, before the man jumped from a window and fled on foot.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were called and established a crime scene.

As investigations continue, detectives have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Nepalese appearance, aged in his early 20s, with black hair and wearing black glasses.

He is depicted wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
