Appeal after teacher threatened at Auburn, NSW

Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly threatened a teacher at a school in Sydney’s west.

About 2.35pm on Wednesday 27 July 2022, police have been told a man attended a school on Percy Street, Auburn, where he intimidated and threatened a teacher before fleeing the scene.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the incident.

As the investigation continues, police have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build, with black hair, dark eyes and some facial scarring.

The man was wearing a maroon jumper, grey tracksuit pants with black gloves and sneakers.
