Appeal after traffic crash at Daisy Hill

Police are appealing for witnesses to a multi-vehicle crash that occurred at Daisy Hill last night which resulted in a woman and child sustaining injuries.

Preliminary information indicates a black Nissan Navara, grey Mazda 3 and a black older model Lexus were travelling northbound on the Pacific Highway when they collided around 9.15pm, causing the Navara to roll.

A 4-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman who were passengers in the Navara were transported to hospital in a stable condition. The 25-year-old male driver of the Navara and a 6-year-old male passenger were also taken to hospital.

The male drivers of the Lexus and Mazda 3, both aged 17, did not suffer serious injury.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have dashcam of the vehicles prior to the collision to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any information regarding other possible vehicles that may have been involved in the leadup to the crash.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
