Appeal For Assistance After Break And Enter At Mudgee

Police have released images of three men who may be able to assist detectives investigating a break and enter in the states Central West.

Shortly before 1am on Monday (16 September 2024), two men allegedly broke into a jewellery store located in a shopping centre on Mortimer Street, Mudgee.

It will be alleged that the two men stole a number of jewellery items before exiting the store and walking along Mortimer Street.

The two men have entered a red SUV which was last seen driving west on Gladstone Street, Mudgee.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District were notified where a crime scene was established, and an investigation commenced.

As inquiries continue police have released images of two men who they would like to speak with. Images of the vehicle have also been released.

Police would also like to speak with a man sitting in a white van in a carpark on Byron Street, Mudgee, at the time of the robbery.

The first man is described as Caucasian appearance, medium build and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, light coloured wrap around face covering, blue pants, dark coloured boots, grey gloves and carrying a black should bag with white motif.

The second man is described as Caucasian, medium build and he was wearing a black hooded jumper, light coloured face covering, blue pants, blue sneakers with white undersole and blue gloves.
