Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney’s Inner West but may be in the Redfern area.
Charles Cameron, 32, was last seen in Croydon about 11pm last Saturday (23 December 2023).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified earlier today (Monday 25 December 2023), and inquiries commenced into his whereabouts.
There are concerns for Charles’s welfare due to the time he has been missing and this being out of character.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 165cm-170cm tall, medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes and he has a beard. When last seen he was wearing a white t-shirt, Tommy Hilfiger-brand shorts, black Nike TNs and was wearing a hat with an Aboriginal flag.
Charles is known to frequent the Redfern area and information gleaned by police indicates he may have been there yesterday (Sunday 24 December 2023); however, inquiries have failed to find him.
