Appeal to identify injured pedestrian at Seven Hills, NSW

Police are appealing for assistance to identify a woman who was critically injured after being struck by a car at Seven Hills.

Emergency services were called to the Prospect Highway, near the intersection of Artillery Crescent, just after 1pm today (Saturday 26 March 2022), after reports a woman was hit by a Toyota Rav 4.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital where she remains in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 74-year-old man, wasn’t injured but was taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command are investigating the incident and are appealing for public assistance as they attempt to identify the injured woman.

The woman is believed to be aged in her 70s or 80s, of Asian appearance, approximately 150cm tall and with a thin build. She has short grey hair and has dentures.

She was wearing a white and pink floral shirt under a pink cardigan, black pants, tan shoes and a white hat.

Anyone who may know the identity of the woman is urged to contact police.
