Appeal to identify man after child assaulted – Pymble

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following the alleged assault of a child in Pymble.

About 7.10pm on Thursday 6 April 2023, officers attached to Police Transport Command responded to reports of an assault at Pymble Railway Station.

On arrival, police were told a man had allegedly assaulted a young child before boarding a train.

Officers commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and, as inquiries continue, have released images of a man who may be able to assist.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, with grey hair. The man was wearing a red shirt with blue shorts and reading glasses.
