Appeal to locate man last seen at Campsie Train Station

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man last seen at Campsie.

Makulino Paulo, aged 72, had only recent arrived at Sydney International Airport from Samoa and was last seen getting off a train at Campsie Station about 6.30pm on Friday (20 October 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare of Makulino as he lives with dementia and is not familiar with the area.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance, between 185cm to 190cm tall, of a solid build, with brown eyes and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey and black zip up jacket, a black cap with a red brim and red writing on the front, a black t-shirt with white writing on the front, beige shorts, white sneakers and carrying a small black shoulder bag.

Makulino had only recently arrived in Australia from Samoa to stay with relatives, and he is known to frequent the Fairfield area.
