Appeal to locate teenage boy missing from Sydney’s east

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney’s east.

Tyrell Simpson-Rodger, aged 12, was last riding a bike along Yorktown Parade, Maroubra, about 4pm yesterday (Friday 8 March 2024).

When he was unable to be located officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Tyrell’s welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 125cm tall, of thin build, with blond hair and green/blue eyes.

Tyrell was last seen wearing a green school uniform shirt, black shorts and shoes and carrying a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Glebe, Eastgardens and Maroubra areas.
