Appeal to locate teenager missing from Sydney’s south west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from Yagoona.

Anh Ky Koang, aged 17, was last seen at Saltash Street, Yagoona about 5pm Friday 15 December 2023.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Anh is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 160cm to 170cm tall, with a thin build, brown eyes, black hair and earrings on his left ear.

He was last seen wearing grey pants and a white shirt.

Anh is known to frequent Yagoona, Marrickville, Newcastle and North Sydney.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
