Appeal to locate woman missing from Sydney’s Inner West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney’s Inner West.

Latisha Silva, aged 19, was last seen on Darling Street, Glebe, about 8.30pm today (Thursday 17 August 2023).

When she did not return and could not be contacted, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Latisha is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 170cm tall with medium build and brown hair, and has a tattoo of a flag on the back of her neck.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans with cut-out knees, a grey long-sleeve top, black and white shoes and carrying a bag.

She is known to frequent the Glebe, Redfern and Waterloo areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
