Armed hold up at Angle Vale, South Australia

Police are investing an aggravated robbery at an Angle Vale licenced premises overnight.

Just after midnight, Monday 14 June, police were called to a tavern on Heaslip Road after reports two men had entered assaulted a staff member with a rubber mallet and fled with a small amount of cash. Thankfully staff we not seriously injured.

Patrols searched the area but did not locate the suspects. A short time later police were called to Fradd Road where they located a Kia Sportage on fire. The car was baring false number plates and is suspected to have been involved in the robbery.

The suspects were both fully covered up, but are both believed to be men. The first suspect is described as being about 175cm tall, stocky build, wearing dark pants, an orange high-vis top with a light grey long sleeve top underneath, gloves and a black balaclava.

The second man is also described as being about 175cm tall, medium build, and wearing light grey pants, black long sleeve top, gloves and a balaclava.
