Northern Territory Police have arrested 5 offenders following an attempted burglary in Alice Springs overnight.
About 2.15am this morning, police received a report of several people attempting to break into a residence in East Side.
The female resident was home alone and observed the group on CCTV allegedly attempting to gain entry by removing a screen door.
All available police units responded and established a cordon around the area.
The five males aged 15, 15, 18, 25 and 25 were arrested on the road outside the residence a short time later and remain in police custody.
Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
