Global law firm Ashurst has advised Generali Investments Partners, the investment arm of Generali Group, in the establishment of its new Spanish branch.
The Ashurst team was led by Italian tax partner Michele Milanese supported by associate Federico Squarcia. The Spanish based team was led by partner Eduardo Gracia, assisted by counsel Jorge Ramirez for Spanish tax aspects; partner Jorge Vazquez, senior associate Tannia Rodriguez and junior associate Cristina Lopez-Canos for Spanish corporate law aspects; senior associate Cristina Grande for Spanish employment law aspects and counsel Josefina Garcia for Spanish regulatory and anti-money laundering aspects.
The Spanish branch follows the recent opening of a new branch in Germany, on which Ashurst also advised Generali Investments Partners in relation to the Italian and German tax aspects.
