Ashurst appoints Jean Woo as Singapore office managing partner

Global law firm Ashurst today announces that Jean Woo has been appointed the managing partner of the Singapore office, with effect from 1 May 2022. 

Jean is a partner in the global finance division. She joined the firm as an associate in the Singapore office and rose through the ranks to became a partner in 2017. As the pro bono and gender champion partner in the Singapore office, she is passionate about using her knowledge and expertise to help people and the community.

Paul also thanked Rob Palmer for his dedication to the firm. During his four year term, the Singapore office has seen significant growth, expanding its offerings in new areas including financial regulatory, antitrust and competition, investment funds, and restructuring.
