Northern Territory Police are investigating an alleged assault at a marina in Bayview earlier this week.
Two teenaged girls allegedly trespassed onto the marina on 3 April and approached another youth known to them, resulting in an altercation. The mother of the third girl was assaulted when attempting to intervene.
Territory Duty Superintendent Drew Slape said, “Police attended and apprehended the alleged offenders on the scene. The youths were left in the care of responsible adults and are assisting police with enquiries. Investigations are ongoing.”
