Police from Taskforce Maxima have charged a 43-year-old Rebels OMCG member with assault occasioning bodily harm following an incident in Atherton on Thursday, February 3.
Police will allege at about 10.45pm at a Main Street licensed premises, a verbal altercation broke out between the 43-year-old Townsville man and a 46-year-old Atherton man.
It’s then alleged that the 43-year-old struck the Atherton man to the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
He suffered minor injuries.
The 43-year-old has been given a notice to appear at Atherton Magistrates Court on April 5.
