ATM stolen from Morphett Vale golf course

Police are investigating a break-in and theft at Morphett Vale, where an ATM was stolen from a golf course clubrooms.

About 5.10am today (Tuesday 19 September), police were called to Golf Course Drive near Panalatinga Road after an alarm activation.

When patrols arrived they found the doors of the clubrooms had been smashed by a car, which was then used to remove the ATM from inside.

The car then drove off with the ATM and is believed to have driven on to Panalatinga Road, but it is not known which direction the car travelled.

The car is a red Nissan Pathfinder station wagon, with South Australian registration of WFY479, which was stolen from a Modbury Heights property.

The car was later found on Marshall Road at Cherry Gardens where it had been set on fire.
