Attempted armed robbery offences in Surfers Paradise, QLD

Queensland Police have charged three people following an attempted armed robbery on Hanlon Street in Surfers Paradise around 11.30pm on Thursday, November 9.

It will be alleged the group threatened a man with a gel blaster and attempted to steal his phone.

Officers arrested the three youths at the scene. No one was injured.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted armed robbery and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 15.

A 17-year-old has been charged with attempted armed robbery.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 10.

A 15-year-old boy attempted armed robbery and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.

He received bail and is due to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 15.
