The Australian women’s shotgun team has continued their international success winning the gold medal at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Lonato, Italy.
Having won the gold medal at the Cyprus World Cup in March, the trio of Penny Smith, Catherine Skinner and Laetisha Scanlan were top qualifiers for the gold medal match after collectively hitting 200 out of 225 targets.
The Aussies met team Italy in the gold medal match where they displayed great focus and determination as they put on a dominant performance to win the Gold Medal by 7 points to Italy’s 1.
