A NSW Fair Trading representative will share information on how you can protect your identity and how the law can help if you get scammed.
This workshop is a Law Week (May 13-19) initiative and is a must for people who are looking for sound advice on how to protect themselves from scammers in online and offline environments.
According to Griffith City Library Manager, Karen Tagliapietra, Law Week presents an ideal opportunity to help locals avoid being scammed.
“NSW Fair Trading will be here to provide help and advice,” she said.
“During the workshop you will find out how to protect your identity, how to avoid scams, and how the law can help if you get scammed.”
