Award winning interior designer to share her latest craze at lunch event

She’s one of Australia’s most sought-after interior designers. Perth-local, Natalee Bowen, known for her classic, yet timeless Hamptons style, has over 20 years in the industry, boasts international experience and has racked up almost 170K Instagram followers, so it’s no surprise she knows the latest trends back to front.

Her latest fascination is in smart home automation, having recently found a solution that matches her Hamptons style “to perfection.”

“For a long time, I had considered home automation to be too overwhelming for me to recommend to clients,” she says.

“I’m not alone, there’s a lot of people out there that feel this way – they’d rather forego the automation to avoid the complexity. Now, I’ve got something I can easily recommend.”

Natalee owns award-winning interior design business, Indah Island, and will be the star attraction at a lunch event later this month, which will explore how to incorporate smart home automation into interior designs.

While interior design and smart home automation seems like an unusual coupling – combining artistic room decoration with, what’s often thought as, clunky technology – Natalee says her solution works magic.

“I’m featured in magazines and television shows quite frequently so it’s important I have good recommendations when it comes to the latest designs, technology included,” she says.

“My husband, Mark, and I were recently searching for a simple, beautiful and innovative smart home solution to use in our latest farmhouse renovation project, which will be featured on 9Life’s Ready Set Reno TV show in the new year.

“We chose Quantify Technology because they tick all the boxes by providing an easy-to-install and easy-to-understand, customisable solution that looks exceptional.”

Natalee says her initial interest in Quantify has now turned into a partnership, because she loved their solution that much.

“Their products match my Hamptons style perfectly and are better than anything else on the market,” she says.

“I love sharing the latest trends and my newest finds with others, which is part of the reason why I’ve chosen to present at this lunch event on 25 September. I’m really looking forward to sharing with others how smart home automation, specifically Quantify’s solution, can add the finishing touch to any home and how it can deliver a truly amazing living experience for homeowners.”

With smart home automation in her repertoire, Natalee now fancies herself as a more diverse interior designer.

“Quantify’s products add value to any home, which is great for me because it means I can offer my clients a more cohesive, well-rounded and complete solution when they are renovating or designing their new home,” she says.

‘An Interior Designer’s foray into Smart Homes’ is on 25 September from 12:00pm – 1.30pm at Home Base Subiaco. The event is free and includes lunch. Tickets available from Eventbrite.
