Bass Coast Shire Council invites our community to celebrate with us this International Women’s Day by joining us for a special lunch at Silverwater Resort, San Remo on Friday 8 March 2024, with keynote speaker Nicole Livingstone OAM.
International Women’s Day is a time for inspiration and change. Every year since 1911, this global day marks the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, while calling to accelerate women’s equality. For this year’s Bass Coast event our theme is inspiring inclusion and we will focus on women in sport at a professional and community level.
When women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment. The aim of the 2024 #InspireInclusion campaign is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women.
