Bring your binoculars to this birthday with a difference, as Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve is about to celebrate a big number and you’re invited to the party.
Home to Little Llangothlin Lagoon, the nature reserve was protected 40 years ago, and celebrations are set for World Wetlands Day, Saturday 2 February.
Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve is listed on the Ramsar Convention of Wetlands of International Importance and is one of the last remaining high altitude freshwater lagoons along the New England Tablelands.
National Park and Wildlife Service Area Manager Michael Lieberman said he is excited to welcome families to the reserve to celebrate this momentous occasion and discover the mysteries of the lagoon.

Birthday with the Birds is on from 9.30am until 12.30pm on Saturday 2 February 2019.
