A man has died in hospital following a collision in Blackburn South last month.
Investigators have been told a 76-year-old man was crossing Middleborough Road about 10pm on Thursday 19 December.
As he crossed the road he was been struck by a north bound car.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital in a critical condition where he has since died.
